About ACCA Canada
ACCA Canada in Toronto is part of ACCA's global network. ACCA has offices in a number of countries across Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas. ACCA's headquarters are in London, England. Processing of student registrations and examinations is handled by our office in Glasgow, Scotland.
There are over 1,100 members from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds living in Canada. Members work in industry, commerce, public practice, academia, government and other areas. There are over 400 ACCA students in Canada and they are able to write qualifying examinations at centres across the country under regulations administered from the United Kingdom. Members and students reside in most regions of Canada, especially Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, Edmonton and Ottawa.
Newly arrived members and students will be automatically placed on the ACCA Canada mailing list if they have notified ACCA Connect of their address in Canada or have updated their address on the ACCA website themselves. There is no local subscription payable.
ACCA Canada is managed by a Board of Officers which meets regularly and is elected by the membership at an Annual General Meeting. The Board of Officers meets to discuss and plan Canadian activities and developments. Members of the Board of Officers are based in each of the regions and provide a source of local member contact. The ACCA Canada office will provide, on request, to Canadian members, contact details of members of the Board of Officers in the different areas of Canada. Enquiries regarding studying ACCA, recognition issues and administrative matters should be directed to the ACCA Canada office.

- Increasing awareness and recognition of the ACCA in Canada

- Member qualification recognition issues, advice on working in Canada, global mobility and other professional issues
- Newsletter, website and other communications to members and students
